The attention to detail and service was on point! The steak melted in my mouth!

Great restaurant in Okinawa. The curry soup for the appetizer has a nice flavor. I got the rib eye with potatoes and they were done correctly medium rare. Some drinks have souvenir glasses that you can take home. A really nice place to take a big group.

I can't believe it took me 3 & 1/2 years to discover this place! We just ate here tonight for my husband's birthday. We heard mixed reviews about whether or not to bring our 3 kids, but we brought them anyway. BRING YOUR KIDS. They'll love the pirate theme and all the treasures and trinkets garnished amongst the restaurant. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff was nothing short of amazing! Their hospitality during our entire visit was above and beyond. You really get a bang for your buck with the food. Everything from the appetizers, to the soup and salad that come before your meal (get the Japanese wasabi dressing and thank me later). We got a little bit of everything on the menu, and it all just melts in your mouth. We loved it!

I love this place. Good food. Great atmosphere.

The crab legs were amazing. The steak was par for Japan. I would have preferred a little more charring on the outside, but they sacrifice charring to keep the meat juicy. The bacon that wrapped the meat was flavorless and not crispy either. Pointer, when asked about salad dressing, trust me and choose the wasabi one. It could possibly be the highlight of the meal. I wish I would have got some desserts, but I was full from the meal even without an appetizer.

Enjoyed the food and great ambiance. Overall it was a good experience.☺️

Great food and not badly priced

Very tasty filet mignon and lobster with crustecean sauce, salad with wasabi dressing and curry soup. Highly recommend.

I give it ⭐⭐⭐ because the price is set for Chinese vacationers who have no idea how great steaks are prepared. The food is ok but the staffs are very great!

Great place and great food. The atmosphere here was quiet professional, yet laid back. Definitely reccomend coming here for such service and hospitality would be difficult to find elsewhere.

I absolutely love this place, it's so kitch. My only complain is that the steak isn't good quality and it's a bit dark inside. Other than that, its a lot of fun.

While I love seafood, this place was a bit overrated and overpriced. The drinks were good and I contemplate going back solely for the cute drinks. The food portion was small and not seasoned that well, it tasted bland. The crab legs were good.

Great service and great food. Just be sure to take your wallet with you it's not cheap! I highly recommend it even though it's worth the money!

Delicious food and a romantic environment. Great place for a date night and there is something for everyone. I love their curry soup, it’s so comforting and warms my soul . I could have a meal out of just that. I have gotten the same thing both times now, the macadamia crusted mahi mahi, it is so good...I can’t help it. This time we got the souvenir cups and they actually box up new clean ones to take with you so you don’t have to take home your sticky used glass! I thought that was so nice. One day I’ll remember to take a picture of my plate before I eat it all 😳

Such a treat. Food was delicious but this is the darkest restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. We had to use our cell phone light just to see our food. It is a true “dining” experience so there are a few courses (homemade soup and salad) before your actual meal. You may be full before your meal arrives to your table. Despite all that, it’s a great restaurant with GREAT food. Enjoy.

Sam's by the Sea is a personal favorite for the delicious seafood and steak, attentive service, delicious exotic drinks, unique atmosphere, and the quiet dining you can enjoy as a single, couple, or family at the bar or in either of their dining rooms. The theme is Hawaiian/Samoan. Adding to its distinct motif, apart from looking like the inside of an old wooden ship hull, the restaurant is decked out with tons of authentic nautical and native Pacific Islander antiques and memorabilia. There's a covered open air bar out back for what looks like events you can have at Sam's. This particular restaurant has been around since the late 70s and many of their first generation employees have retired from there within the last 15 years. They have to be doing something right.

King crab legs were perfect!!! The service is impecable. Very professional and just nice dining. Steak was also very good. There were pretty cool looking drinks on the menu but I was driving so I didn't try any. Overall had a great birthday dinner!

Fun place/ good food. Anytime I visit Okinawa I make sure to go to Sams. Service can be slow,, but The food is wonderful. Make sure you get a drink and take home a mug.
